The ideas
- 1Use the queen to shrink the box the enemy king lives in. A knight's move away from the king is a handy spot.
- 2Every time the king steps back, make the box smaller, but never leave it with no moves when it is not in check: that is stalemate.
- 3Once the king is on the edge, bring your own king up and mate together.
